When done right, the blowout could be the single most beautiful hairstyle ever. So coveted is the blowout that finding a stylist who can create this shear perfection is a novelty itself. Some stylists need an arsenal of high-quality conditioners, shampoos and styling tools. Others require nothing more than their own natural finesse. Think you have what it to teach everyone how to make the perfect blowout? Enter Hairs My Story and My Hairstylingtools.com Perfect Blowout Contest and win a Karmin Titanium Flat iron.
Curious about what makes a Karmin flat iron so great? Maybe its the two smooth-as-glass Titanium plates. It could be the micro-porous technology that seals in moisture. Some say it is the heat control ranging from as low as 80º C to 200º C. My guess is the reassurance of a money-back guarantee.
Here's the rules:
Record a video diary to photo blog of yourself giving the perfect blowout tutorial. Show me that you're the next top hairstylist. I want entrants to walk me through the entire process--step by step--displaying all the products used and special techniques. At the end of the video (or photoblog) I will obviously need to see the finished results.
I'm looking for sheen, volume, health and style. Give me your back story on what gives you the biggest struggle on the blowout and how you overcame it. I'll allow the community to pick the contestant with the best looking hair.
No shortcuts. I want to see you creating this look through photographs or uploaded video.
No weaves or extensions of any sort. Trust me, it ain't that hard to tell if you're wearing a lace wig, weave or bonded extensions.
Get creative with your definition of the perfect blowout. If the readers think its fly, then you're the winner.
Every week until the contest ends I will post the results of who is in the lead.
Submit all your video link and photographs, along with your full name, address, email and a number where I may reach you to hairsmystorydotcom@yahoo.com by April 30, 2009. If you do not provide complete contact your entry will be automatically removed from the running.
